Have your student paper published by AfricaFiles

Wrote the perfect term paper? No one will ever see it? No worries!

AfricaFiles is currently accepting papers written by undergraduate and graduate students to its on-line database in the areas of human rights, environmental issues, resource extraction, gender rights, and history as they pertain to current events in Africa.  We want students to share their work with the world!

Our mission is to publish papers that promote social and economic justice in Africa, so keep this in mind when you submit your papers. We are interested in papers that express new and intriguing ideas. Well-researched and current sources are important to publication of your work, as is writing that is professional in tone and style.

AfricaFiles cannot guarantee publication of all papers submitted, but if your work is accepted, you will be contacted by an editor to prepare your work for publication. There are no length requirements for publication. AfricaFiles uses the Harvard style of referencing, which is an author-data system. Submissions without proper citations will not be considered.

To submit a paper for consideration, send it to: info [at] africafiles.org.  Papers should be provided as a Word document.
